Chaz Davies keeps World Superbike title hopes alive
 

The Weshman has now won seven races this season but inconsistency has left him a massive 81 points behind defending champion Jonathan Rea who maintained his series lead with fourth and second places at Magny Cours.
Davies had gambled correctly on tyre choice in Saturday’s race which began in the wet but ended on a drying circuit, and he came out on top again in a three-way scrap yesterday.
The Ducati rider capitalised on an error by the Kawasaki duo of Rea and Tom Sykes at the hairpin late on.
