Charlton Athletic set to sack Russell Slade to become SIXTH different manager to leave in under three years



Russell Slade is set to be sacked by Charlton Athletic after just six months in charge.
Slade is expected to depart with Charlton 15th in League One, 16 league games into the season, following Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at Swindon Town.
The former Cardiff City boss would become the seventh managerial casualty of owner Roland Duchatelet’s disastrous regime at The Valley with Jose Riga ending his second spell in charge following last season's relegation.
Club chiefs held talks over Slade’s future following their latest loss and look set to call time on his short period in charge.
