Charity match for ‘football mad’ Rotherham schoolboy raises more than £1000
 

0 Have your say Big-hearted friends of a ‘football mad’ teenager who is battling leukaemia raised more than £1000 for him during a charity match.
Curtis Allen, aged 16, of Fircrest Way, Wath-upon-Dearne, was diagnosed with the disease a few months ago.
And when his friends and fellow ex-pupils of St Pius X Catholic High School found out they decided to take action and organise a charity football match in his honour.
The game recently took place at the schools’ playing field and raised a whopping £1213.
It will be used to buy Curtis some presents which might make his stay in hospital more... read more
