Charity hedgelaying match grows in stature as it becomes more established



Hedgelayers battled the elements to raise money for poorly children at the fourth annual charity match on the Rhug Estate, Corwen.
Some 25 competitors signed up for the contest, including several from across the border, and the match succeeded in collecting around £400 for Ty Gobaith, a Hope House children’s hospice in Colwyn Bay.
It was organised by Cwmpenanner farmer Arwyn Roberts, whose sister-in-law, Eluned Yaxley is a senior fundraiser at Ty Gobaith.
