Charity fight to stop Nottingham homeless dying in winter streets
 

A Nottingham charity has started a new fundraising campaign to stop homeless people dying on the streets this winter.
Framework, the largest homelessness charity in the East Midlands, said it is raising £12,000 to pay for its Homeless Winter Survival Project, to provide rough sleepers with essentials like warm clothing, food and water, as well as access to accommodation.
The project supplements another £15,000 programme the charity runs to ensure no homeless person in Nottingham rough sleeps when temperatures hit zero degrees.
