Charity claims HMP Nottingham is failing to reform offenders after damning report



A charity that supports families of prisoners who have died at HMP Nottingham has claimed it is failing to reform offenders in the wake of a damning report by the chief inspector of prisons.
Deborah Coles, director of charity Inquest, which has been running for more than 30 years, said the prison was "failing in rehabilitation" with four of eight deaths occurring in just two months.
The charity also welcomed the report issued yesterday by the chief inspector of prisons, Peter Clarke.
