Champions League matches heading towards Saturday kick-offs if UEFA get their way... despite English opposition 



A Saturday clash between Champions League matches and domestic club games has become the elephant in the room during continuing talks over the fraught future of European football.
The European Professional Football Leagues have already been vocal in their opposition of UEFA's latest revamp of the Champions League. This guarantees England, Germany, Italy and Spain four spots each in the competition — leading to a closed shop.
