Cerys Matthews on why as a mum she wanted her Goodlife festival to be different



She was the face of Cool Cymru and at the cutting edge of the Nineties Britpop music revival.
But when Catatonia frontwoman Cerys Matthews and her husband came to creating their own festival it was in her role as a mother, not a Welsh pop icon, that she drew her inspiration.
The singer/songwriter, DJ, presenter, actress and children's author wanted an event that would return to a more innocent age before the rise of the computer dominated childhood.
