Celtic hit with £8,615 fine by UEFA for fans’ Palestine flags
 

UEFA have fined Celtic £8,615 over their fans’ support of Palestine in August's 5-2 victory against Israel's Hapoel Beer Sheva.
The Hoops have been hit with a charge for having an "illicit banner" by Europe's governing body.
Celtic have been punished eight times in five seasons by UEFA for their supporters' behaviour, including a fine of around £16,000 two years ago after a Palestine flag was displayed at a Champions League qualifier against KR Reykjavik.
