CCTV planned for recycling centre which is 'treated like a dump' and regularly torched
 

Fridges, washing machines, ovens, even “half a kitchen” are among the items being dumped illegally at Ingleby Barwick’s main recycling centre.
Councillors complain the facility, next to Tesco on Myton Way, is being used as a “rubbish tip” by unscrupulous residents and tradesmen.
The recycling bins are also repeatedly targeted by arsonists.
Now CCTV security cameras could be installed to catch anyone abusing the recycling centre or trying to torch it.
