Catholic school put up poster saying being gay was ‘disordered’
 

A Catholic school has come under fire for putting up a poster which labelled being gay as ‘disordered’.
St Bede’s Catholic School in Lanchester, County Durham, has been forced to defend itself after the anti-gay message was met with uproar.
The poster formed part of a religious studies display but the school said it had been taken out of context.
It read: ‘Homosexuality is a disordered behaviour that must be condemned (Vatican statement 30 July 2008).’
