Catapult, Horizon and Voltron: Experts reveal the secretive war apps being used to defeat ISIS in Mosul

US troops in ISIS-held Mosul are being equipped with high-tech tools to detect unseen threats.
The Pentagon’s Joint Improvised Threat-Defeat Organization has developed a suite of apps to help detect hidden improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
