Carlisle College to lead £8.5m skills project
 

CARLISLE College has been awarded a multi-million pound project designed to give Cumbria one of the UK's fastest growing economies.
The £8.5m has been awarded by the Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and will be used to raise skill levels in the county and plug its skills gaps.
This project will offer funded workforce training within Cumbrian small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and support to recruit apprentices via an impartial brokerage service.
