Carer left 'vulnerable' woman relying on benefits after cheating her out of £100,000
 

A former carer burst into tears when told she would be jailed for cheating a wealthy woman who was left having to live on benefits.
Linda Baker, 61, took nearly £100,000 from the woman who was described as "vulnerable" during the hearing at Nottingham Crown Court.
Judge Nigel Godsmark QC was told that Baker had previously been one of the people who was registered as a carer to the victim.
But during two years, cash was withdrawn from the woman's bank and put into the account of Baker, who lived in Siskin Court, Mansfield.
