Career criminal jailed for burglary spree



A career criminal has been jailed for committing 101 burglaries - after vowing to pull off an offence for every day served during a previous sentence.
Brian Plumb, 41, pleaded guilty to five burglaries and asked for 96 other offences to be taken into consideration when he appeared at Northampton Crown Court last week.
Plumb, of no fixed address, was handed a three-year jail sentence at the same court in 2012 after carrying out break-ins while on the run from prison.
