'Career criminal' involved in armed robbery at Narborough Road phone shop



A "career criminal" involved in an armed robbery, when a shopkeeper was beaten with a bat, was jailed for a total of nine years and eleven months.
Thomas Law (28) was one of three masked and hooded raiders who burst into a mobile phone shop on Leicester's Narborough Road, on October 23, 2014.
The shopkeeper was attacked by one of the unknown accomplices wielding a baseball bat, causing arm injuries.
The robbers made off in a stolen BMW taking more than £3,000 worth of mobile phones and several thousand pounds in cash.
