Care worker's compensation claim rejected after fall in Tunstall left her 'unable to work'

A woman has hit out at a council after claiming she lost her job when she tripped on an 'uneven' pavement.
Susan Allmark badly broke her arm after falling over in High Street, Tunstall.
As a result, the 56-year-old was unable to continue her job as a care worker after her bones needed to be pinned together leaving her with limited movement.

Susan had put in a complaint and claim for compensation against Stoke-on-Trent City Council for not taking action to improve the state of pavements following the accident... read more
