Care home where Ivy Atkin stayed suffered 'rapid decline' in weeks before her death, inquest told
 

The home where Ivy Atkin lived before her death 'declined rapidly' - despite health chiefs noticing improvements the previous month, an inquest into the pensioner's death heard.
Training had been given to staff at the Autumn Grange Care Home, in Herbert Road, Sherwood Rise.
But advice was not always taken on board, the hearing at Nottingham Coroner's Court heard.
One senior member of staff, Naseen Kiani, shouted at a practitioner sent to provide training: "You should shut the home down!" when confronted about care plans not being up to standard.
