Cardiff City sack Paul Trollope after just five months in charge of the Championship club
 

Trollope was appointed Russell Slade's successor at the end of last season after the 55-year-old moved into a head of football role - but quit his position two weeks later.
But Trollope's first managerial role since 2010 failed to get going as quickly as Bluebird chairman Vincent Tan would have liked.
Poor results in the opening 11 league games have left Cardiff second from bottom and the club moved quickly to try and change things around.
