Google A car park attendant had his bottom lip almost ripped off by a man who had taunted him for a week.
Stefan Brown, who had mental health issues, had to be dragged off his victim during the attack, Teesside Crown Court was told yesterday.
Prosecutor Phillip Morley said the Crown regarded the attack on July 20 last year as a hate crime after Brown had taunted the man for a week about his speech impediment.
The victim in his thirties needed 10 stitches to a cut inside his mouth after Brown was dragged off him by members of the public.
