Car hits mobility scooter on busy zebra crossing



A woman on a mobility scooter was hit by a car as she tried to get across a zebra crossing.
The crash involved a Renault car.
Eyewitness Barry Robinson, who runs a nearby cafe, on Roman Bank in Skegness said: "A car stopped to let her cross but this car in another lane carried on.

"The woman, who I think is in her 30s, already suffers back problems, and she was very badly shaken up. She was hanging and out of the scooter. We took a chair out to her and looked after her.
