Capacity reduced for Birmingham City v Aston Villa derby
 

The capacity of St Andrew’s has been cut by 5,000 for Birmingham City’s derby with Aston Villa.
After consultations between the club’s safety team and West Midlands Police the decision has been taken to reduce the number of tickets on sale to 25,000.
Birmingham City confirmed the news in a statement on their website in which they added: “The Club appreciates supporters’ understanding on this matter and we reiterate that supporter safety and the matchday experience is our top priority.”
