Can you really trust a GP who diagnoses you over a Webcam? The NHS seems to trust online doctors, and hopes the service will cut waiting lines

So you’re feeling ill, and now, to add to your woes, you’ve just been told there’s no chance of an appointment to see the doctor for several days at least.
Join the club: a third of patients find it difficult to get a GP appointment, according to a recent survey by Monitor, the NHS financial regulator.
That’s why, as a busy working mother-of-four, I really have to be on my knees before I can face the battle to get seen by my local practice.
