Can YOU name this celebrity? Researchers reveal why humans and fish both struggle to recognize upside down faces



Humans aren't very good at recognizing upside down faces - but then again, neither are fish. 
Researchers have discovered that the Japanese rice fish struggles to recognize inverted faces, just like humans. 
But the fish don't struggle recognizing faces when they're orientated the right way up, suggesting that these fish developed a brain pathway for face recognition, just like humans have.

Humans don't struggle with identifying objects, such as a sofa, not matter what way up they are. 
However, this is different for faces.
