Campaigners take fight to save Sheffield pub to council meeting



Real ale campaigners will tomorrow try to convince councillors to change their decision not to protect a Sheffield pub.
Members of the Sheffield branch of Campaign for Real Ale, or Camra, will be at the city council's safer and stronger communities scrutiny and policy development committee meeting to contest the decision not to list The University Arms as an asset of community value, or ACV.
They have a long list of questions to put to councillors about the decision, and will be joined by Liberal Democrat members, who called it in for scrutiny.
