Campaign launched to get Gwynedd headstone for four-month-old cot death victim
 

A crowdfunding campaign has been launched to buy a gravestone for a four-month-old baby who died earlier this year.
Scarlett Eluned Elizabeth Hughes died on January 11 due to suspected cot death, otherwise known as Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
While Scarlett’s grave at Macpeleh Cemetery in Penygroes near Caernarfon is marked by a cross, Jasmin Hughes wants to buy her daughter a headstone as a permanent legacy of her short life.
But Jasmin is a single parent unable to work due to depression following her daughter’s death.
