ALMOST 83,000 Scots children started primary school overweight in the last 10 years.
Figures by Cancer Research UK for World Obesity Day today show that many are clinically obese by the time they go to school.
The shocking study of the weight of four and five-year-olds is published as part of their Scale Down Cancer campaign demanding action to tackle obesity in Scotland.
