Calf rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in 5ft hole in Tamworth



FIRE crews were called out to rescue a calf that had fallen into a hole in Tamworth.
The incident off Tame Drive, Tamworth, was reported to Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service at 8.03pm on Wednesday, September 28.
A young cow had become wedged involving a calf stuck in a hole that was surrounded by water.
The animal rescue unit from Cannock also attended the scene.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Fire Service said: "One crew from Tamworth attended an incident involving a calf which was stuck in a hole in the middle of a field surrounded by water.
