Caernarfon's train station is taking shape with new planned opening date



The new railway station in Caernarfon is taking shape - with the project on track to open in late summer 2018.
Welsh Highland Railway has operated from temporary facilities in Caernarfon since the line reopened in 1997.
But the build project to create new facilities was started in February part of the £16m Caernarfon Town and Waterfront Regeneration Initiative at the Slate Quay.
Contractor MPH Construction, of Mold, has now erected the steel frame of the building.
