0 Have your say Borders butchers surpassed themselves at the Scottish Craft Butchers’ Awards at Carfraemill this week.
James Pringle and Grant Archibald of Hawick, Allan Learmonth of Jedburgh, Greg Foston in Duns, Graham Sanderson in Coldstream, Jenna Douglas in St Boswells and Shaws Fine Meats in Lauder all earned awards in the speciality sausage evaluation.
G & J Sanderson of Coldstream picked up gold awards for their piri piri pork sausages and their pork and haggis ones. Fostone Fine Foods in Duns also took gold for their pork, hickory-smoked black pudding and spiced apple... read more
