Business news: Reatail chains to announce rise in prices after weak pound
 

Fashion group Bon Marche, online fridge and oven seller AO, Mothercare and Pets At Home all reveal their latest results to the stock market this week and are expected to face a barrage of questions over how far costs will rise.
Cotton is sold in US dollars around the world and, with the pound trading at $1.24 compared with $1.52 a year ago, suppliers and retail bosses are locked in tough negotiations to work out who should take the burden of extra costs.
AO chief executive John Roberts has already said he will increase prices by up to 6 per cent.
