Burton woman left in coma after fight against flu urges people to get the jab
 

A Burton woman who was left in a coma after being struck down by a virulent strain of flu is urging people to get the jab this winter. Jane Heron, now 43, from Stapenhill, is still getting back to everyday life after being put into an induced coma for five weeks – where she had to be rususcitated several times - back in December 2010 .
Still on the road to recovery, Jane has secured work as a receptionist at the hospital in which she nearly died and is using her story to urge others to take precautions and have a flu jab.
