Burglars who raided 17th Century hall are jailed for string of offences
 

Two men who burgled a historic hall for a lawnmower are behind bars for a total of six years.
Dean Hogg, 23, was caught after a 10-mile police chase across Teesside and has just joined his partner in crime Kenneth Ross, 31, in prison for burgling the 17th Century Gainford Hall, in County Durham.
Criminal activities at the unoccupied hall two days in a row were revealed after CCTV was checked.
First, the pair were seen walking around the perimeter of the grounds on the afternoon of May 31, Teesside Crown Court heard yesterday.
