Burglar steals safe and cash from South Cumbria couple in their 90s



The suspect is believed to have entered the property on Castle Grove in Kendal between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday.
The occupants of the house are a couple in their 90s. It is believed that the suspect entered through the insecure front door and went to the upstairs bedroom where they removed a safe which was screwed into the rear bedroom wall.
The suspect then left, taking the safe and contents - a quantity of cash and documents - with them.
