A burglar caught in a high-speed police chase after he raided four lock-ups in a one-night crime spree has dodged prison.
One of Jorden Jackson’s victims said he hoped the culprit would be “properly punished and not given a slap on the wrist”.
Jackson, 21, walked out of Teesside Crown Court with a 10-month jail term suspended for two years.
He and a partner in crime broke into four containers on Warrenby Court, Redcar, on the night of December 29 last year.
He broke padlocks and ransacked a lock-up rented by a woman to store personal possessions while her home was renovated.
