Burglar jailed for raid on Royal British Legion club in Derbyshire
 

A burglar has been sent to prison after he was caught on CCTV during a break-in at a Royal British Legion club in Derbyshire.
The burglary happened at the club in Derby Road, Melbourne, in the early hours of Tuesday, September 20.
Mark Seaton of Collingham Road, Long Eaton, was recognised by a police officer from CCTV footage from the club and he was arrested a few days later.
The 38-year-old pleaded guilty to burglary when he appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates' Court. He was sentenced to 20 weeks imprisonment. He was also ordered to pay £900 compensation and a £115 victim... read more
