Bungling Scottish UKIP MEP David Coburn hints that he is ready to stand for the leadership of the party
 

BUFFOON UKIP MEP David Coburn has urged his crisis-hit party to “get a grip” as he revealed he is considering running for leadership.
The 57-year-old, who has been dogged by controversy since being elected in 2014, took on the unlikely role of peacemaker as the turmoil within the party continued.
Leadership favourite Steven Woolfe quit UKIP on Monday after being hospitalised following an “altercation” with fellow MEP Mike Hookem. In an explosive resignation speech, he warned the party it is in a “death spiral”.
