Bullying knifeman who slashed friend's throat gets long jail sentence
 

A bullying knifeman who slashed his friend’s throat in a row over a loan has been branded a public danger as he starts a long prison sentence today.
Drunken Simon Pearce, 41, threatened two men over money they had borrowed: “If you don’t pay what I’m owed I’ll slit your throats.”
That day he attacked one of the men with a craft knife and left him bleeding so profusely he passed out.
He walked into the victim’s home, grabbed him and gripped him in a headlock while he was watching TV.
