Buchanan Galleries reopens after evacuation caused by huge power cut
 

Buchanan Galleries has reopened following a massive power cut which caused the centre to be evacuated.
Staff at the Glasgow shopping centre took to Twitter to announce the reopening after dozens of people were led out of the building as a precaution at around 12:45pm.
The huge outage swept the G1, G2 and G4 postcode areas of the city.
SP Energy Networks confirmed they were working to fix the problem and hoped to restore supplies by around half two this afternoon.
It is understood most of the city centre, the west end and the Gallowgate area of the city was affected.
