Brutal attack in Pittshill still haunts Simon Scott's family



The vicious attack four years before Simon Scott's death still haunts his loved ones.
He was beaten and stabbed by serial offender Alan Cartwright and his accomplice Scott Weston.
Simon, who was 22 at the time, was only saved when his father Michael Scott, who lived with him in Pittshill, heard his screams as he arrived home.
Mr Scott recalled: “I opened the door. Cartwright was straddling him with a knife. Simon had got puncture wounds all over."
