British man dies in Australia one week after motorbike crash left him in a coma
 

Doctors battled for a week to save the life of John McDougall, 30, from Preston, Lancashire, after the crash in a Perth suburb on Saturday 12th November.
His mother Honor, brother Craig, and aunt Alison made the 9,000-mile dash to be at his bedside, flying out last Sunday to be with him.
The Preston North End fan had been working in Australia for four years as a utilities technician when he lost control of Honda motorbike and hit a telegraph pole.
But on Sunday his family were left with the “heartbreaking” decision to switch off his life-support machine, a family friend has confirmed.
