British businesses eye up USA to cover Brexit shortfall as interest DOUBLES in 12 months
 

OCO Global, which is the Department for International Trade’s sole provider of advice and services to British companies that want to do business in the United States and United Arab Emirates, says the referendum has forced companies outside of their comfort zone and made them look overseas for opportunities. 
It says that since the referendum in June 2016, the number of enquiries per month from companies looking to export to the US or set up businesses there has doubled to approximately 100. For the UAE, enquires have gone up to 15-20 per month.
