British Airways scrap free meals and drinks on short-haul flights
 

The days of free meals on short-haul and domestic British Airways flights are almost over.
The airline has announced it will scrap the free snacks and soft drinks it currently offers to economy passengers early next year.
Passengers will be able to buy Marks & Spencer sandwiches, salads and snacks instead.
The new range will include a £4.75 hot bacon and pork roll or beef and red onion chutney bloomer sarnie.
Other new snacks include £1 salt and vinegar crisps, £1.80 Percy Pigs, soft drinks from £1.50 and alcoholic drinks from £4.
