Bridgnorth mother ‘tortured’ man with hair-straighteners at Oswestry house
 

Thomas Mellor was left with burns and scars on his right arm after he was faced by three women in the incident more than a year ago.
He was struck with a bottle, punched and sprayed in the face with kitchen cleaner and was threatened with more violence.
Corinna Hanson was said to have “lost control” as she and the other two women assaulted the victim at Caer Road, Oswestry, in September last year.
At Shrewsbury Crown Court on Friday, 37-year-old Hanson was given a 16-month prison sentence, suspended for two years.
