Brexit voters say significant economic damage is a price worth paying
 

The majority of people who voted Leave think significant economic damage is a price worth paying for leaving the EU.
According to a YouGov survey, 61% of Leave voters were prepared to accept the consequences as long as Brexit took place.
Equally, some 34% of Remain voters felt the same about staying in the EU, saying it was worth it even if the country experienced ‘significant economic’ damage.
Of the 2,043 Leave voters asked, 61% answered ‘yes’ they’d accept significant damage, 20% said no and 19% don’t know.
