BREKAING: Inflation falls to 0.9 per cent



Inflation dropped to 0.9 per cent in October from one per cent in September, as measured by the Consumer Prices Index (CPI), data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) showed today.
It means a typical basket of goods and services that cost £100 a year ago, would cost £100.90 today.
But experts warned prices are expected to keep rising in the following months and into next year, making it harder for savers to make a return on cash.
