BREAKING NEWS: Southern Railway's owners takes rail union to Supreme Court in bid to end misery for thousands of strike-hit passengers
Southern Railway bosses are taking Aslef to the Supreme Court for the chaos the union has caused with its recent strikes.
Govia Thameslink Railway announced today that it would be taking legal action after 300,000 commuters were left stranded by industrial action.
The Aslef strikes centres around Southern's plans to have drivers operate the train doors, which could lead to guards being laid off, unions say.
Commuters are now facing many more months of misery as Tube workers vote for more strikes.
