Breaking: Ben Needham police want to knock down Kos farmhouse extension built months after toddler vanished

British police searching for Ben Needham have asked for permission to knock down part of a farmhouse as part of their investigation.
Detective Inspector Jon Cousins said he was waiting to hear from the property's owner in Kos to see if they could demolish one room of the building.
The extension was added in the months after toddler Ben went missing.
DI Cousins said he was pleased with how the investigation was going and said: "I should hear shortly whether that permission is granted."
