Brave toddler who lost one eye to cancer faces battle to save sight after tumour returns
 

A BRAVE toddler who had her cancerous right eye removed faces a battle to save the sight in her left eye.
Laurel Allen was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma at 18 months.
She had to endure different types of chemotherapy, laser therapy and cryotherapy – a ­treatment using extreme cold.
But just as her family thought she was recovering, the tumours began to grow again in both eyes.
In August, doctors finally admitted defeat and removed Laurel’s right eye to save her life.
And with the tumour growing in her left eye, it has now had nine sessions of intra-vitreal chemo.
