Bransholme soldier Nicholas Sanderson could be kicked out of Army for punching man



The career of a highly respected soldier is hanging in the balance after he admitted a one-punch assault.
Nicholas Sanderson, 32, has spent 13 years in the Army and served in some of the most dangerous combat zones in the world. He was described as a "considerable asset" to the Army and arrived at Hull Crown Court with glowing references.
Bransholme soldier Sanderson, who is currently suspended, may be kicked out of the Army depending on the sentence he receives next month. He admitted unlawfully wounding a man on May 8 when he appeared at court on Thursday.
